Moments Matter | Maternity on the Shores of Lake Huron

There’s something beautiful about watching a family on the edge of a new beginning. On a golden evening in AuSable Township, I had the honor of capturing a maternity session full of tenderness, connection, and quiet anticipation.

The soft rhythm of Lake Huron’s waves set the scene as this beautiful family of three soaked in one of their last nights as just the three. Their little boy, curious and full of light, is about to step into the role of big brother. You could see it in his wonder, his hugs, his laughter dancing on the breeze. And his parents, hearts wide open, hands intertwined, were glowing with the love and joy that only comes from growing your family.

These are the moments that matter. The ones that pass too quickly but hold a lifetime of meaning. A shoreline. A sunset. A mother’s hand on her belly. A father lifting his son. A promise of more love to come.
